Tesco
Tesco supermarket now offers home delivery to a fair percentage of the UK, and you can see if you're included by entering your postcode. They offer two modes of shopping, online or offline. For the offline version you have to get a free CD from a store and install the software. The shopping experience is painless and you don't need us to tell you about their goods or prices. Delivery is a fiver.

Iceland
Spend over £40 and they will deliver all the way from Iceland for nothing, and furthermore you can designate the time of delivery. The shopping site is excellent, and the service is available nationwide. They also stock a range of environmentally friendly fridges and freezers, and remember, they sell fresh food, too.

Asda
Asda sell their groceries online, although they lag behind the market leaders, Tesco, in reach. The shop works well, and they also sell a limited range of George Childrenswear, too.

Sainsburys
Enter your postcode at Sainsbury's online supermarket to find out if they can deliver to your door. They haven't got the reach, yet, of their arch rival, Tesco, and the shop takes a while to load. The wait is worth it, though, because once inside shopping is a breeze. A nice feature on the site is ther recipe finder. Type in what you've got in your fridge - except for the half tin of cat food and squishy cauliflower - and they will serve you with a list of recipes.

Merchant Gourmet

Harrods
If you can't get to London to browse and shop at Harrods department store, come and visit them online. You can now buy online their gorgeous hampers, confectionary, wine, champagne, biscuits, tea, jam and not forgetting the famous eponymous teddy bear.

Expertly butchered Scottish meat products delivered fresh to your door are available for you to order online from this high class butcher. As well as the usual meat types and cuts you can buy delicacies such as venison, Guinea fowl, haggis, rabbit, pheasant and ostrich. The site is simple to use with lots of info on the products and there are mouth watering photographs to tempt your taste buds. Maybe the veggies out there should give this one a miss.

Organic meat, fish, fruit and veg, all grown in the UK. Simple site to navigate, delivery free for orders over £75, but if you're not feeding the five thousand it'll set you back £5.
